Pastor
Georgia Williams operates under a strong intercessory prayer anointing,
and has conducted numerous teachings all over the United States. She is
a prolific speaker/teacher whose uplifting and upbeat style of delivery
has caused many lost souls to come to Christ. She was a licensed
minister whose leadership lasted for 11 years prior to her ordination as
a Pastor.
Pastor Georgia was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. She is the sixth of eight children. Her family moved to California in 1955. She gave her life to Christ at the age of 12 years old. She united with Holy Chapel Baptist Church in 1962 under the late Pastor William Cobbs. She served as President of the youth choir and many other duties in the church for most of her young life. As a young adult she joined “Little Bethel Holy United Church”, under the leadership of the late Bishop Ralph Houston, and later Pastor Roy Harris and Pastor Carol Houston. She graduated from David Starr High School, in Los Angeles and attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
She was employed as the Assistant Payroll Manager at University of Southern California (USC). She later moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she worked as the Administrative Secretary to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Louisiana State Employees Retirement System (LASERS) until she retired in 2012.
She is happily married to Cromwell Williams, her husband and love of her life for forty-three (43) years. They have 3 adult children and 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Her past works include membership in “Christian Women in Action (CWA), Pasadena, California, where she served on the Board of Director as Secretary for six years. Additionally, she served as Conference Coordinator for four years. She taught the preteen bible study classes at “Bethel Unspeakable Joy Christian Fellowship Church” in Los Angeles, California. She started a Bible study and Prayer class at The University of Southern California (USC) which has continued to date.
Pastor Georgia served as the Director of “Beauty for Ashes, Power of Prayer Ministries” (BFA), a national non-profit prayer ministry, headquarters in Bellflower, California. At the time of directorship there were satellite chapters in Shreveport and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, West Covina, Pomona, California and Stone Mountain, Georgia. She served as the director for 11 years.
Beauty for Ashes was a prayer ministry geared toward Christian Women of all ages and nationalities, who are hurting in their marriages, and facing numerous challenges within the home and their workplace; who meet to intercede for one another through prayer, faith, and practical teaching of God’s word.
Pastor Georgia also served as the overseer for “In His Presence Ministry and Kingdom Networking” on USC campus for several years. She also started a prayer and bible study sessions in her home for two years before being called to pastor. She was officially ordinated as a Pastor by Apostle Fannie M. Wallace of Praise Assembly Apostolic Ministry on September 21, 2007.
She is the former pastor of “God’s Love Apostolic Ministry” of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She pastored the small church in the Sherwood Forest area of Baton Rouge for 7 years. 80 percent of the congregations were children from the small community where she was able to see so many lives changed.
Pastor Georgia and her husband Cromwell relocated to Hemet, California in 2014. In 2016 God gave Pastor Georgia the vision for the new ministry to be God’s Love Prayer Ministry, Inc., and to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to believers and to intercede for them as well as their children, families and friends to become believers in the body of Christ and be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit.
In 2016 the Lord had Pastor Georgia to reestablish the prayer wall ministries in Shreveport and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is also reestablishing the prayer ministry in Atlanta, Georgia. She is doing this by holding Prayer Summits.
God’s Love Prayer Ministry is under the covering of Apostle Fannie M. Wallace, Praise Assembly Apostolic Ministry in Dell City, Oklahoma. The Prayer Ministry meet on the third Saturday of each month at different hours and places within Southern California to pray. The ministry also travels to other States sponsoring Prayer Seminars.
When all is said and done Georgia is a child of God and is working to serve the Kingdom of God, to redeem, restore and reach out to a dying world.
